Soccer Game Preview: Smith County vs. Livingston Academy

The Smith County Owls will square off against the Livingston Academy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

After dropping their season opener at home, Livingston Academy is headed out to face a Smith County squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Smith County fell just short of Friendship Christian by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Owls couldn't quite close it out.

Gavin Kemp and Jarrain Smith scored both of Smith County's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Livingston Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand Eagleton College & Career Academy a 5-0 shutout.
