Volleyball Recap: Coastal Christian Takes a Loss

Coastal Christian lost against Chapel Hill back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Centurions fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9.

Chapel Hill found their leader in freshman Leila Tooloee, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Tooloee.

Coastal Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Chapel Hill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Coastal Christian and Chapel Hill will both be playing Pinecrest the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Centurions will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
