Meadow Heights waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crystal City Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Meadow Heights was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-13.

Jaycee Shelton paced Meadow Heights' offense, picking up 16 kills. Shelton got some help from Maci Long and her 33 assists. Lyndi Green controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Meadow Heights' win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Crystal City, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Meadow Heights has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Marquand-Zion on the 6th. As for Crystal City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Grandview on the 8th.
