Soccer Game Preview: Edison vs. Annandale

The Edison Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Annandale Atoms at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison will be strutting in after a win while Annandale will be coming in after a loss.

Edison is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Mount Vernon on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Edison needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meanwhile, Annandale didn't have quite enough to beat Lewis on Thursday and fell 4-3. The defeat continues a trend for Annandale in their meetings with Lewis: they've now lost four in a row.

Annandale's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-3-1. As for Edison, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.
