Basketball Recap: King Comes Up Short

If King was feeling good fresh off their 67-35 takedown of Kaufer last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The King Brahmas took a blow against the Aransas Pass Panthers on Tuesday, falling 79-38. The contest marked the Brahmas' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

King has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Aransas Pass, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-7.

King will be taking part in a tournament against Victoria East at 10:15 a.m. on December 27th. As for Aransas Pass, they will be home for the holidays to greet Odem at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Aransas Pass knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Odem likes a good challenge.
