Volleyball Recap: Woodson Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home + How To Watch

If Robinson wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Woodson, they should've done a better job of containing Livia Lee. The Cavaliers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rams on Thursday thanks in part to Lee, who had 12 digs and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Woodson was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-12, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sofie Ferrell, who hit 90% for nine kills and eight digs and five aces. That's the most aces Ferrell has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Lea Grant, who had seven digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Woodson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Woodson's victory ended a seven-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for Robinson, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.
