Eastside Catholic lost to Roosevelt back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eastside Catholic Crusaders slipped by the Roosevelt Roughriders 44-43.

Roosevelt's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellery Burke-Brown, who posted 18 points and seven rebounds. With that strong performance, Burke-Brown is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Hall, who had eight points and seven boards.

Eastside Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. Roosevelt's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9.

Eastside Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roosevelt, they will challenge Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season.
