Basketball Recap: Hancock County Takes a Loss

Hancock County lost against Meade County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hancock County Hornets had to suffer through a 65-38 loss at the hands of the Meade County Green Waves. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 179th, while the Green Waves are ranked 46th).

Hancock County's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Meade County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8.

Hancock County has already played their next game, a 54-40 defeat against McLean County on the 8th. As for Meade County, they will challenge Bethlehem at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
