After flying high against Seaside on Monday, St. Helens came back down to earth. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Astoria Fishermen on Wednesday. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

St. Helens' loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Astoria, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

St. Helens is taking a road trip to face off against Tillamook at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Astoria, they will square off against Clatskanie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
