Basketball Recap: Memphis East Skates Past Memphis Central with Ease

Memphis East won the last time they faced Memphis Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Memphis East Mustangs claimed a resounding 53-20 victory over the Memphis Central Warriors. The Mustangs pushed the score to 45-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had no chance of recovering from.

Memphis East's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was McKenzie Register, who posted 11 points and four steals. Register is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Ashlee Sinkfield was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.
