Stagg had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They came out on top against the Richards Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

While Stagg won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17.

Michael Kos paced Stagg's offense, picking up seven kills. Kos got some help from Dennis Tocila and his 16 assists. Dean Hammad controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Stagg's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-7. As for Richards, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-16.

Stagg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Brother Rice on the 9th. As for Richards, they will be playing at home against Hillcrest at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
