Volleyball Recap: Marshall Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Marshall had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Shoreland Lutheran Pacers on Saturday.

Carly Checky paced Marshall's offense, picking up nine kills. Checky got some help from Ava Neuberger and her 18 assists. Summer Hellenbrand and Kennedy Weisensel kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Coincidentally, Marshall and Shoreland Lutheran will both be playing Green Bay Southwest the next time they take the court. The Pacers will head out to face the Fighting Trojans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
