Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel Takes a Loss

Mt. Carmel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-6.

Mt. Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Sunrise Mountain, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Mt. Carmel will head out on the road to take on Helix at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sunrise Mountain, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rockwall-Heath on the 30th.
