Basketball Recap: Chattahoochee Takes a Loss

Chattahoochee suffered their biggest defeat since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against the Milton Eagles, falling 77-42. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Eagles are ranked fifth).

Chattahoochee's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Milton, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Chattahoochee and Gainesville will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Milton, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Wheeler's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups.
