Basketball Recap: Prospect's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Prospect won the last time they faced Stevenson and things went their way on Saturday too. The Prospect Knights enjoyed a cozy 53-37 victory over the Stevenson Patriots. The win was familiar territory for the Knights who have now won four games in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prospect to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allison Linke, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Linke a new career-high in blocks (six). Zoe Black was another key player, putting up 16 points and five boards.

Prospect's record now sits at 24-6. As for Stevenson, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prospect will welcome Fremd at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Fremd's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches. As for Stevenson, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Warren Township at 7:00 p.m.
