Following cross-country transfer to St. Francis, four-star Class of 2027 prospect leads the way in 89-44 victory over Arleta.

Making his high school basketball debut, 7-foot-3 junior Cherif Millogo of St. Francis (La Canada, Calif.) posted 30 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in an 89-44 victory Wednesday over Arleta. See highlights in the video.

Millogo attended Cambridge Arts, Technology and Science Academy (Braintree, Mass.) last season but did not play after tearing his ACL.

Despite missing his sophomore campaign, Millogo remains a highly-regarded prospect. Boasting a 7-9 wingspan, he is currently the No. 82 prospect in the Class of 2027 nationally according to On3.

A native of Burkina Faso, a West African country with a population of approximately 23 million, Millogo began to catch the attention of programs this summer after impressing at the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Showcase in June. He holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Nebraska and Syracuse.

The standout center also has the advantage of having former UCLA and NBA player Luc Richard Mbah a Moute as his guardian. The Cameroon native played 12 seasons in the NBA after a successful college stint with the Bruins that included a trip to the NCAA title game during his freshman campaign in 2005-06.

St. Francis finished the season with a record of 16-13 in 2024-25 after winning 13 of its first 17 games. Sophomore guard Luke Paulus also pumped in 20 points and eight rebounds in the lopsided victory Wednesday.

St. Francis (1-0) returns to the court tonight for a showdown with Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello).
