Bear Grass Charter won the last time they faced Union, and  Vance Keel did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bears blew past the Spartans 56-24  on Friday for which the team can thank  Keel, who rushed for 257 yards and three  TDs while picking up 16.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 107  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Despite the loss, Union still got an impressive performance from   Tobias Cromartie, who rushed for 218 yards and a pair of  scores while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. Cromartie showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards.
The  victory was  the third in a row for Bear Grass Charter, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.7 points this season. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Coincidentally, Bear Grass Charter and Union will both be playing Lejeune the next time they take the field. The Spartans will  host the Devilpups at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday, while the Bears will head out to face them  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 19th.
