Basketball Recap: Grand Lake Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Grand Lake won the last time they faced Starks and things went their way on Monday too. The Grand Lake Hornets walked away with a 42-31 win over the Starks Panthers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Grand Lake's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Starks, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Lake won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Basile at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Starks, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge South Cameron at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
