Basketball Recap: IC Imagine Piles Up the Points Against Mount Pisgah Academy

IC Imagine won the last time they faced Mount Pisgah Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The IC Imagine Kingfishers took their game with ease, bagging a 58-30 win over the Mount Pisgah Academy Mountaineers. The Kingfishers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Leading IC Imagine to victory were Asa Gura and Gabe Ordiway. Gura went 8 for 20 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven steals and three blocks, while Ordiway dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Ordiway a new career-high in assists (four). Tyson Elliott was another key player, putting up 11 points.

IC Imagine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for Mount Pisgah Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

IC Imagine will square off against Summit Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Chance Wilson and Gura. Mount Pisgah Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
