Basketball Recap: Weeki Wachee Wins Going Away Against Angeline Academy of Innovation

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, Weeki Wachee was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 80-55 margin over the Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers. That looming 80-55 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hornets yet this season.

Logan White was nothing short of spectacular: he went 8-for-20 to rack up 21 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. The contest was his third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Justin (JT) Knight, who posted 14 points and six steals.

Weeki Wachee was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Weeki Wachee's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Angeline Academy of Innovation, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
