Triton benefitted from Johnson in 20-2 victory
While Friday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Bailey Johnson. On Friday she was dialed in and scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-6. She played a big game the last time she faced Western Harnett, so the team probably should've seen her coming.
Johnson and Triton will look to defend their home field on Monday against Westover at 6:30 p.m. The last time Johnson duked it out with Westover (back in March), Triton came out on top by a score of 18-0.
