Baseball Recap: Kettle Moraine Comes Up Short

Kettle Moraine was the 4-3 winner over Catholic Memorial when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lasers fell 4-1 to the Crusaders on Wednesday.

Kettle Moraine has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Catholic Memorial, they pushed their record up to 6-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
