Baseball Game Preview: Westminster Lions vs. Palm Springs Indians

Gio Wood was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.

Palm Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Westminster, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
