Volleyball Game Preview: NELA Christian Homeschool Flame vs. Midstate Homeschool Storm

For the first time this season, NELA Christian Homeschool will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. After both having extra time off, they and the Midstate Homeschool Storm will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

NELA Christian Homeschool can't be too happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season away from home last Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of CHAAMP HomeSchool.

Meanwhile, Midstate Homeschool was able to grind out a solid win over John Paul the Great Academy on Friday, taking the game 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Everything went NELA Christian Homeschool's way against Midstate Homeschool in their previous matchup back in August of 2024, as NELA Christian Homeschool made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flame since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
