Volleyball Recap: Reedley Beats Sierra Pacific for Their Third Straight Win

Reedley entered their tilt with Sierra Pacific on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Golden Bears. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Bears, too.

Reedley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 22-25, 25-11.

Lexie Obeso was the offensive standout of the contest as she had four digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matchups.

Obeso wasn't the only good servers: Reedley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.

Reedley's record is now 21-9-1. As for Sierra Pacific, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reedley will welcome Immanuel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sierra Pacific, after both having extra time off, they and Hanford West will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
