Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Donahue Catholic). They never let the Babcock Trailblazers onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Monday. Considering the Shamrocks have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Babcock with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Samuel Mattews (3), Paul Jahnke (2), Luke Misek (2), and Paul Bruno.

The victory (which was Donahue Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Babcock, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Donahue Catholic will take on Marco Island Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marco Island Academy's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Babcock, they will face off against The Classical Academy of Sarasota at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
