Baseball Recap: Tipton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Grandfield last Tuesday, Tipton came back down to earth. Tipton came up short against the Fletcher Wildcats on Thursday, falling 12-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Tipton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Fletcher, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Tipton will be playing at home against Geronimo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fletcher, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-5 loss against Velma-Alma on the 28th.
