Softball Recap: Alief Elsik Takes a Loss

Alief Elsik was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Fort Bend Bush Broncos. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Alief Elsik saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angela Roldan, who went a perfect1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Alief Elsik's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fort Bend Bush, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Alief Elsik will face off against Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Bend Bush, they will take on Stafford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
