Soccer Recap: Salinas Takes a Loss

Salinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Palma Chieftains. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on January 7th.

Their goal came courtesy of Julian Espinoza, who's now up to five this season.

Salinas' loss dropped their record down to 6-6-4. As for Palma, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3-2.

Salinas will face off against Pajaro Valley at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palma, they will square off against Watsonville at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
