Softball Recap: Odyssey Institute Comes Up Short

Odyssey Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 18-1 to the Chino Valley Cougars. If the Minotaur were looking for revenge after losing 13-2 to the Cougars when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Odyssey Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Chino Valley, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Odyssey Institute will head out on the road to take on River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chino Valley, they will square off against Tonopah Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
