Basketball Game Preview: Enloe Eagles vs. Athens Drive Jaguars

Enloe is 1-8 against Athens Drive since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Both will face off at 6:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Enloe is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Leesville Road and fell 63-12. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-7.

Meanwhile, Athens Drive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Broughton.

Enloe took a serious blow against Athens Drive in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 62-24.
