Softball Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 18-9 to the Republic Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 20-3 loss on Thursday.

Oroville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Republic, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oroville will head out to take on Waterville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Republic, they will face off against Selkirk at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
