Basketball Recap: Ravenwood Comes Up Short

If Ravenwood was feeling good fresh off their 65-36 takedown of Summit last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ravenwood Raptors took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brentwood Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Bruins are ranked 27th).

Ravenwood dropped their record down to 10-15 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Brentwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Ravenwood will be playing at home against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brentwood, they will take on Independence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
