Volleyball Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Indiana School for the Deaf can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Varsity Opponent. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Deaf Hoosiers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2016.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Indiana School for the Deaf was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10.

Indiana School for the Deaf found their leader in freshman Carrie Eicher, who had ten blocks and five digs.

Indiana School for the Deaf now has a winning record of 13-12.

Indiana School for the Deaf wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against New Mexico School for the Deaf on the 6th. Varsity Opponent has also already played their next matchup (against Germantown Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
