Football Recap: River View Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. River View lost to Asotin on the road by a 41-26 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to River View of the 63-47 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why River View lost, don't look at Aiden Tyutyunnik. Despite the final result, he threw for 233 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards and one score.

Cody Ells went supernova For Asotin., rushing for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 66 yards and one TD. What's more, Ells racked up 65 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Sawyer Biery was another key player, rushing for 84 yards and a pair of scores.
