Basketball Recap: Mankato East Comes Up Short

Mankato East was the 71-55 winner over Century when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Mankato East Cougars took a hard 59-45 fall against the Century Panthers on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mankato East's record now sits at 1-5. As for Century, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mankato East Cougars challenge the Marshall Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Century, they will be home for the holidays to greet Owatonna at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
