Softball Recap: Thrall Drops Season-High Score on BVCHEA Homeschool

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thrall). They put the hurt on the BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs with a sharp 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Mikayla Velasquez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Briana Jarosek was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Velasquez wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Thrall lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. Thrall is 2-1 when they post two or more home runs.

The win got Thrall back to even at 9-9. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thrall will welcome Milano at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, they will be playing at home against New Braunfels Thunder at 5:00 p.m. on March 28th.
