Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-0 win over the Union County Yellowjackets. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Clinton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was KJ Vance out in front who rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing touchdowns Vance has posted since back in November of 2024. Javen Cook also helped with two scores in total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Clinton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 219 rushing yards in 15 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

The victory got Clinton back to even at 3-3. As for Union County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Clinton and Union County will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Clinton is set to challenge their familiar foe Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Union County will square off against rival Mountain View Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
