Softball Recap: Hammonton Beats Middle Township for Their Fourth Straight Win

While Hammonton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Middle Township Panthers on Monday. The Blue Devils' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Gracie Ravenkamp was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Ravenkamp was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Ravenkamp wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kamryn Barker, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Hammonton's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Middle Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Hammonton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Absegami on the 2nd. As for Middle Township, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-5 victory against Our Lady of Mercy Academy on the 2nd.
