Blacklick Valley barely beat Harmony Area the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Owls 14-2 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won four in a row.

Greg Schilling was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Drew McEvoy was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Blacklick Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harmony Area only posted an OBP of .286.

Blacklick Valley's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Harmony Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
