Northside has no trouble against Taylor County

The Northside Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 69-56 win over Taylor County. That 69-56 margin sets a new team best for Northside this season.

Keron Milton jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ej Riley, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Taylor County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brayden Ellison. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Ellison scored a full 28.6% of Taylor County's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jakevion Towns, who scored eight points.

Northside is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Taylor County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
