Softball Recap: Piedmont Community Charter Victorious

Piedmont Community Charter's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 14-10 win over the Concord Academy Eagles. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on Chloe Rae Baker, who scored four runs and stole Five bases. while going 4-for-5. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Bailee Roper was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Piedmont Community Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
