Basketball Recap: MFL MarMac Comes Up Short

If MFL MarMac was riding high fresh off their 67-13 takedown of West Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The MFL MarMac Bulldogs fell 38-28 to the Kee Kee Hawks on Friday. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

MFL MarMac's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Kee, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

MFL MarMac will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wapsie Valley on February 18th. As for Kee, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton at 6:00 p.m.
