Walker won the last time they faced Therrell, and things went their way on Friday too. The Walker Wolverines breezed by the Therrell Panthers to the tune of 71-41. The Wolverines pushed the score to 50-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers had little chance of recovering from.

Leading Walker to victory were King Daniel Hernandez and Anderson Carey. Hernandez went 7 for 8 en route to 20 points plus two steals, while Carey went 6 for 12 en route to 23 points. Sean Nalls was another key player, scoring ten points plus three steals.

Walker was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Therrell only posted seven.

Walker now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Therrell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Walker will take on Jefferson at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Therrell, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 54-51 win against Spencer on the 23rd.
