Football Game Preview: Spanish River Sharks vs. Jensen Beach Falcons

The Spanish River Sharks will face off against the Jensen Beach Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jensen Beach will be up against a hot Spanish River squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. Everything went Spanish River's way against Osceola on Saturday as Spanish River made off with a 38-12 win.

Meanwhile, Jensen Beach got themselves on the board against Sebastian River on Friday, but Sebastian River never followed suit. They blew past the Sharks 28-0. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Spanish River better keep an eye on Paige Bressman. She was instrumental in Jensen Beach's win, throwing for 303 yards and four touchdowns while completing 74% of her passes. The dominant performance gave Bressman a new career-high in passing yards. Lizzie Fitzwater was Bressman's top target, picking up 101 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Spanish River's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Jensen Beach, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Spanish River took their victory against Jensen Beach in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 34-13. Will Spanish River repeat their success, or does Jensen Beach have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
