Baseball Recap: Millburn Millers vs. Montclair Mounties

Millburn lost against Montclair last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Millburn Millers fell just short of the Montclair Mounties by a score of 3-2. Millburn has not had much luck with Montclair recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Asher Holland made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Even though they lost, Millburn hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Montclair struck out seven times.

Millburn will head out on the road to take on Delbarton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Delbarton is coming into the game with ten straight victories at home, so Millburn will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Montclair, they will head out on the road to challenge Butler at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Montclair's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Butler's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
