Volleyball Game Preview: Belle Tigers vs. Cuba Wildcats

The Belle Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Cuba Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Belle is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Belle faced off against Linn on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Wildcats.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Cuba suffered their biggest defeat since September 4th on Monday. They came up short against Linn, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for Cuba in their meetings with Linn: they've now lost five in a row.

While Cuba was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-19.

Belle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Cuba, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Belle was able to grind out a solid win over Cuba when the teams last played last Tuesday, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
