Last Tuesday, the stars were shining brightly for Crane in a 60-43 victory over Alpine.
Midland Classical Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped last Saturday as they easily beat Pantego Christian 57-29 on the road.
Midland Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman Mariah Davis, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten steals. The match was Davis' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Addie Dunn, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Crane's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.9 points. As for Midland Classical Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.
Everything came up roses for Crane against Midland Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2020 as the squad secured a 58-13 victory.
