Baseball Game Preview: Keswick Christian Crusaders vs. Master's Academy Patriots

The Keswick Christian Crusaders will square off against the Master's Academy Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Keswick Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Keswick Christian managed to slip by Shorecrest Prep the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders came up short against the Chargers on Tuesday, falling 10-4. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Dylan Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson Sullivan, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Master's Academy's offense. They lost 9-0 to Martin County on Tuesday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Master's Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Downey, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Master's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Keswick Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
