Canterbury waltzed into their game  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They managed  a  46-40 win over the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.
 Leading Canterbury to victory were  MacKenzie Tucker and  Zy Alhuzaifi.  Tucker  posted 21 points, while  Alhuzaifi  earned 20  points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which  Alhuzaifi has scored at least a third of Canterbury's points.
 Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Aria Sneary-Beachy, who  had 15  points. That was a full 37.5% of Academy at the Lakes' points, marking the third time in a row she's   put up  more than a third of the team's points.  Siya Shah was another key player,  putting up 11 points.
Canterbury now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Academy at the Lakes, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-6.
 Canterbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  47-28  victory against Patel on the 28th. As for Academy at the Lakes, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  52-28  win against Hernando Christian Academy on the 24th.
